ROLE OF PURPOSE

As our Cloud Security Specialist, you will be responsible for our cloud infrastructure security. This role works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and works with cross-functional teams (Dev, DevOps, QA, and IT).      

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the cloud security subject matter expert for our Enterprise IT and Business IT teams in any IaaS/ PaaS and SaaS implementations and support build, migration, and operation of Azure cloud infrastructure
• Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee enforcement of policies, procedures, and associated plans for system security administration and user system access based on industry-standard best practices
• Lead assessment of cloud implementations, identify security issues and prioritize fixes
• Understand cloud security vulnerabilities and associated threats and assess the overall security risks to a cloud solution, provide mitigation recommendations to reduce identified security risks
• Define standards and best practices by conducting POCs for new cloud technologies leveraged by the development organization and engineering teams
• Work with application teams with their digital Transformation goals and achieve exceptional results retaining maximum client satisfaction
• Establish a continuous improvement plan for Cloud Operations, including technology reviews, root cause analysis, action reports analysis and cloud portfolio review in order to ensure adequate infrastructure to provide suitable operating environment(s) for critical applications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education & Special Training 

• Degree/Diploma in Computer Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computing, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent

Desirable

• Azure, AWS, CCSK or CCSP Certification or Relevant Security Certifications

Experience 

• 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud
• Experience in setting up enterprise level account structure and security models in Azure
• Experience developing cybersecurity solutions across a diverse and heterogeneous IT environment
• Hands-on experience writing effective terraform scripts, Azure Resource Templates based on best practices, Azure policies, Apps to the cloud

Desirable

• Experience in the Banking sector

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth technical knowledge of network, PC, Active Directory, PowerShell and platform operating systems, including Azure
• Proven and demonstrated knowledge of cloud-based delivery models
• Demonstrated experience in implementing security controls, including access control, privileged access management, identity access management, data security, network security, data loss prevention, Cloud security, vulnerability management, configuration management, privacy, and audits
• Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• High ownership, passion and work with sense of urgency
• Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, etc.) frameworks (NIST Cybersecurity, etc.) and regulations (particularly in financials) is preferred
