Job Description

The Community Specialist reports to the Community Manager and is responsible for support tasks related to the Community team. Their main role is to work on the strategy behind content and support others (freelancers, Account Owners) in creating quality articles/posts and engaging with customers in a productive and harmonious way. 

  • Guide Official Account owners on creating strategic and quality content that helps generate knowledge for customers as well as translate into sales
  • Train owners on how to use the SP Production portal in setting up their account and creating content (including visuals)
  • Be the first set of “eyes” to check content for quality, grammar, spelling as well as making sure OA policy (guidelines, terms and conditions, banned words list)
  • Be able to conduct policy, training and strategy related research as well as create documents supporting those
  • Manage and support owners in regards to content calendars, technology related issues, and overall creativity
  • Generate creative ideas, after doing research, of ideas relevant to KBZPay’s internal accounts
  • Think of ways to improve the content of external accounts after doing research and analysis
  • Be able to translate or write in Myanmar to a certain level
  • Able to work with persons and organizations from all walks of life
  • In communication, able to focus on harmony, organization and risk-reduction for Account Owners and customers
  • Able to communicate well with Account Owners, customers and KBZ Bank and KBZPay stakeholders
  • Able to problem solve and identify solutions for problems

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Able to communicate in English and Myanmar
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Able to provide customer support and guidance
  • Strategy and creative skills in regards to content
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to deal with crises and new changes as they occur
  • Able to meet deadlines and prioritize documents
  • Able to organize time efficiently
  • Willing to learn and open-minded
  • Ask questions of the Community Manager when they are unsure of a process or how to do a task
  • Be willing to sometimes work outside one’s job scope as OA is still developing
