Job Description

A Great Opportunity for ...

  • managing board meeting and committee processes. This means responsibility for the preparation and distribution of board papers, agendas and minutes;
  • managing shareholder engagement activities, including Annual General Meetings;
  • carrying out board instructions and implementing board decisions;
  • keeping share registers and other important registers up-to-date and compliant with the laws as on DICA;
  • providing advice to the board of directors on corporation’s law, listing rules and constitutional requirements;
  • ensuring that the company is adhering to its compliance obligations such as requirements for continuous disclosure and company filing on DICA
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports in order to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports and uphold a strict level of confidentiality
  • Assist the chairperson in achieving the board agenda and liaise with the key management personnel
  • Tracking and submitting board expenses and liaise with finance department for payment disbursements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred law degree (LLB)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to senior management or experience in practicing corporate law
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Excellent Presentation Skills
• Resourceful and proficiency in problem solving, Effective Communication Skills with all levels of stakeholders

• Ability to manage budgets, schedules & overall action items. Using judgment to select the most appropriate and effective choices, and weighing costs and benefits.

• Skills using database, spreadsheet, word-processing software, particularly Microsoft 365, to facilitate daily work and prepare reports

• Experience in work directly involved in providing administrative support, special event or conference planning preferred

• Ability to accommodate working across time zones .

• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional development
