The Yangon American International School (Yangon American) is the first international school of London-listed Myanmar Strategic Holdings (MSH). Our newly renovated state-of-the-art campus is located on Yangon-Insein Road in Hlaing Township. Responsibilities:

  • Provide engaging text, image content for all social media, professional accounts and newsletter.
  • Short articles, long pieces, blog posts, press releases, online tools, copy and captions for social media profiles will be some the materials. 
  • Interview industry professionals, staff, teachers, parents and other that the department request and incorporate in the different channels. 
  • Ensure that create value-added and adjusted content (in tone, extension, style) for each audience and for each social media.
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimize content.
  • Edit and proofread written pieces before publication with their supervisor. 
  • Identify “customers” needs and recommend new topics.
  • Supporting social channels including email, newsletter creation and distribution. 
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles.
  • Update our websites as needed.
  • Proactively scope and present new ideas to improve our website experience for new leads and users. 
  • And other requests from other functional teams (Digital marketing executive), Admission and head of the school.

Job Requirements

Basic SEO understanding , content categoriztion and structure , content development , distribution , and measurement.

Editorial knowledge and experience is a must. 

  • Any graduate or other related business degree from a recognized university

  • At least 2 years of working experience in a digital marketing role and preferably in the Education sector.

  • Conceptual Thinking and Data Analysis, Negotiation 

  • Operational Excellence

  • Building Confidence, Adaptability, Coordination
