Job Description

An Excellent Opportunity for ...

1.    Maintain up to date billing system

2. Checking customer's credit situation

3. Responsible for sale ledgers reconciliation including query resolution

4. The implementation of workflows (and notify electronically)

5. Conduct and develop the accuracy of the sale ledgers and maintenance of Lessee accounts

6. Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities

7. Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales

8. Dealing with internal queries about payments, ensuring customers pay on time and negotiating re-payment plans

9. Assist with month-end reconciliation and Bank’s reconciliation work and reports.

10. Generate age analysis and review AR aging to ensure compliance 

11. Maintenance and development of a good CRM system.

12. Maintenance of relevant master data and build knowledge in system

13. Supply related analysis ad statistics for management use. 

14. Maintain accurate records of credit, analyse the effectiveness of the company’s credit control system and implement changes to improve profitability and reduce bad debts 

15. Develop the credit control system in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance and company executives

16. Improve and implement debt collection processes when there are any overdue invoices or payments, and initiate legal procedures if necessary

Job Requirements

  1. At least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics or related field
2.    Excellent teamwork, organization and communication skills 

3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to accomplish team goals and
objectives

4. Basic technology skills, including data entry and internet research using a computer

5. Willingness to work evening and weekend hours on a regular basis

6. Excellent verbal communication skills, especially a courteous yet firm speaking voice

7. Impeccable attention to detail, particularly numbers, spelling, and dates

8. Ability to thrive under pressure and adhere to constant and challenging deadlines

9. Willingness to work evening and weekend hours on a regular basis

10. Proven track record of negotiating payments and handling disputed charges
