Job Description

 The role holder is responsible for managing customer queries and complaints. S/he will address customers’ queries in a calm manner and help guide them in making product choices and resolving issues. The role holder will be the link between marketing and operation teams ensuring that products that are supplied undergo QA and have the correct descriptions, delivery procedures and customer care protocols in place.

  • Reviewing customer or client accounts, following up on customers’ needs and requirements on medications.
  • Handling prescription requests and validations in a timely manner
  • Performing order confirmation and payment verification
  • Converting customers to become My-Medicine’s Care Companion Program subscription members Cold-calling and explaining to customers about various medications and their benefits.
  • Assisting with Help Groups on various platforms to support the requirements of customers and responding to incoming calls and queries in the pharmacy (pharmacy on call, Facebook, Messenger, Viber, etc.)
  • Interacting with Marketing and Operation team to provide clients and customers information regarding the company’s new products, services, and policies
  • Collaborating with other call center professionals to improve customer service
  • Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information and interprets medical abbreviations.
  • Supporting organization’s start up nature and business needs
  • Processing orders, modifications, and escalating complaints across a number of communication channels.
  • Handling correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and making outbound calls to customer patients – retention through care service and sales conversion
  • Providing assistance to doctors, locally or remote
  • Identifying and communicates issues to senior management proactively
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Diploma or professional degree in supply chain management studies / business management. A degree in Pharmacy is an added benefit.)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well with others 
  • Detail oriented, organized, efficient with good time managing skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Passionate in providing customer service
  • Cold calling to customers
  • Experience working in a call center would be an added advantage.
  • Having experience of community pharmacy is preferred with a knowledge of pharmacy operation
  • Must be able to work in shifts (day/night) and/or weekends as required by the business.
