Job Description

A Fantastic Opportunity for ...

  • Processing of all non – cash transactions in the branch and entry in Core banking and other processing systems in adherence to the process manuals.
  • Account opening (including FCY) for customers after proper validation and documentation of relevant supporting documents.
  • Delivery of all relevant cards & pin to customer after opening an account or availing our CC facility.
  • Providing customers with Account statement, & other bank certificate issuance upon request and after verification of the statement.
  • Receiving all outward clearing cheques for processing at clearing unit.(If any)
  • Issuing, roll over and closing of FD, and other Deposit accounts
  • Realization of service charges & fees
  • Is conversant on all the products and services of the bank and the processes involved.
  • Receive all customer queries and reply with the proper solution.
  • Handle complaints from the customer and ensure that the problem will be solved in due time.
  • Review and explain account charges / provide cheque status
  • Assist customers with replacing lost or stolen debit cards.
  • Assist banking customers who are victims of fraud, theft – help file complaint / provide documentation support.
  • Escalate the problem to the relevant department and follow up on its timely resolution.
  • Cross selling/reference of retail banking products to counter customers.
  • Keep all relevant forms, brochures and information to help sell bank’s product and services to customers.
  • Dormant a/c maintenance & activation.
  • Monitoring Anti money Laundering issues and preparing relevant reports.
  • Stop payment confirmation, deletion and reconciliation when any inconsistency or fraudulent transaction is identified.
  • Handle and effect inter-branch and inter-account fund transfer.
  • Standing order loading, amending & closing
  • Raising deferrals and arranging proper approval within agreed time frame
  • Signature & image loading to system
  • Maintaining locker key, Cheque book.
  • ATM cash feeding and maintenance.
  • Assist with customer information’s changes

Job Requirements

  • Possess at least a Bachelor Degree in any discipline
  • Prefer who has working experience in the financial industry 
  • Proficiency in  MS Word, Excel.
  • Has to have customer centric attitude
  • Have a pleasant behavior so as to greet customers with warmth.
  • Able to work under the stressful conditions in the working atmosphere.
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly and simply.
  • Customer focus and adapted to the customers, answering the calls of the customers, intense work environments and so on.
  • Be able  to judge well and deliver the duties properly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent selling skills
  • Able to work with team
  • Good analytical ability & problem identification & solving skill
