On behalf of our Client, a leading freight forwarder. We are looking for a: Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding) to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides consistent, high quality customer service to customers who are value long term relationships and buys customized processes and solutions
  • Be the first point of contact for all queries and will be responsible for booking, planning of shipments as per customer SOP, resolution of customer queries, services issues as well as follow-up on outstanding
  • Be responsible for preparing & sending the P.O to the customer and as well as the proactive and appropriate resolution of issues related to P.O & booking management
  • Conducts booking with vendors / shippers and planning with vendors/ shippers (Vendor coordination)
  • Responsible for cross sell/ up sell, customer retention
  • Follow up on the outstanding bookings and query resolution

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • University degree in any major subject
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service in freight forwarding
  • Experience in logistics processes, systems, and solutions
  • Having solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience
  • Having knowledge of international commercial transportation (air and ocean freight would be an added qualification)
  • Good presentation skills and communication skills
  • Good command of English Language
  • Outgoing, upbeat and resourceful personality
