Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Involved in DBA activities for 24/7 Production Support on Linux and windows environment.
Creating primary database storage structures (tablespace, datafiles) and objects like tables, indexes and profiles.
Monitoring database, which include basic health checks , growth of objects, performance of the database and giving recommendations
Performing status checks by monitoring the Alert Log, Trace files of the database.
Controlled the users' operations by limiting the memory spaces and grants the necessary roles, privileges and profiles to the users.
Created oracle users, oracle roles, granted privileges and profiles etc.
Monitoring the alert log and trace files to monitor the day-to-day DBA activities.
Performing logical backups (using Export/Import, Data dump utilities).
Migrated the database from production to development through export and import.
Performing RMAN backups.
Maintaining Recovery catalog database.
SCHEMA Refresh and TABLE Refresh.
Maintaining the registers to document important database activities such as Server down time, timing of RMAN backups, errors in the alert log file.
Timely communication to Customer/Management/Team on Incidents, Escalations, Scope-creep, etc.

Job Requirements

A bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science or related specialization
5 years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator with hands on experience in the areas of management, troubleshooting, Backup and Maintenance of database.
Extensive use and knowledge of databases including ORACLE 9i ,10g & 11g running on multiple platforms such as Redhat LINUX & Windows.
Having extensive knowledge in Data dump, Data Guard , Patching , Upgradation, RMAN Backup & Recovery, Decommission ,performance Tuning, Schema & Table Refresh.
Good command of spoken and written in both Myanmar and English;
excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
good communication, teamwork and negotiation skills
