Reporting to Head of the Business, you will be responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities and joint ventures for the organisation. You will be involved in macroeconomics research analysis for Infrastructure investments and provide any other business reports that will assist management in decision making. Your inputs and financial advice will be highly instrumental in value adding to the business, you will develop econometric and statistical models for forecasting macroeconomics trends. This will also involve devising methods and procedures for data collection and the analysis of data collect.

• Collecting and analysing financial, political and macroeconomics data
• Conducting surveys and utilizing various sampling techniques
• Researching various fields including politics, healthcare, education, energy, etc
• Making use of historical data
• Analysing market trends
• Provide perspectives on geopolitics and economics landscape
• Consulting clients on the efficacy of political policies, products or services
• Studying the economic impact of laws and regulations
• Developing statistical and econometric models for economic forecasting
• Communicating economic data in accessible ways

• A degree qualified in Economics
• At least 8-10 years of experience in progressive organisation
• Strong hands-on experience in building econometric and empirical models
• Independent and possess good influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Regional or international experience is an advantage
• Strong team working skills
• Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills in both English and Burmese language
• An ability to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment
