Job Description

An Exciting Opportunity for ...

Assist Department Head to lead and provide direction for the management of market risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, reputation risk and strategic risk in bank
Formulate appropriate risk management policies, risk limits and risk methodologies to ensure to meet market standards and fulfil regulatory requirements;
Implementation and compliance of the approved risk policies and controls and the escalation procedures when the related risk policies and controls are violated;
Maintain an effective stress testing framework;
Support the Asset & Liability Management Committee and the Treasury and Investment Risk Committee
Oversight of relevant risk management functions of banking and non-banking subsidiaries of the Group
Maintain close contact with external regulators and auditors on related risk issues;
Develop a risk register by analysis internal audit reports and market data to compile and maintain the risk register. Present such data to Senior Management Committee, Board Risk Management Committee.
Advice to business units/ Processes owners on new product or process development in terms of integrated risk and propose controls to mitigate the inherent risks of the product/ process.
Review new processes and products for embedded risks and provide recommendations to the BRMC before approval.
Developing and implementing best practice processes to manage all aspects of Integrated Risk for Strategic Partnerships, in line with the Bank's Integrated Risk Management Framework and CBM guideline
Any other task as stipulated by the CRO or Management of the Bank.
Ensure regulatory compliance, as recommended by Central Bank of Myanmar and any other regulatory body and guidelines on Risk Management and other directions/circulars issued from time to time and review internal policies to ensure compliance to such standards.
Any other task as stipulated by the CRO or Head of Integrated Risk of the Bank.
Work with auditors and examiners during regulatory compliance examinations

Job Requirements

University degree in Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines
Over 8 years’ experience in the risk management of treasury and asset and liability management related areas in banking industry,
Good knowledge in treasury markets, products, local and international regulatory requirements;
Good leadership skills and communication skills
