Job Description

A Big Opportunity for ...

The key roles and responsibilities of the position are as follows;

  • Ensure high quality day-to-day management of the property
  • On-site and hands-on management of the PM operations team including supervision of Maintenance Technicians, Housekeeping/ Cleaners, Landscapers and Security
  • Coordination and collaboration with suppliers including property consultants and various facility management contractors
  • Enforcement of the property’s Deed of Mutual Covenant including rules on common area use and enjoyment, fitting out/ reinstatement, signage and general operations house rules
  • Monitor operating procedures for the property including; security, fire safety, emergency and evacuation procedures
  • Coordination of handover/takeover of premises and supervise quality control of tenant fit-out works
  • Support in management of financial matters including tracking expenditures of all types to ensure that these are in line with annual budgets
  • Administration including collection of rental, management charges, utilities and other charges payable from tenants and also the purchasing of all required equipment and materials, reporting, operating expenses including utilities and waste management, and contracts management
  • Support on building maintenance reviews and regular building inspections from local authorities
  • Proactive identification faults and idea generation on how to improve overall PM performance

Job Requirements

  • Above 5 years of experience in property management of various property types, preferably mixed-use, retail or residential.
  • Fluent in Burmese and English
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to work cross-culturally with local “blue collar” staff
  • Must have strong knowledge of occupational safety requirements and environmental protection
  • Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities
  • Must be willing to work weekend’s and overtime
  • Good knowledge of international best practice in building management systems
  • Preferred - Bachelor Degree in related field
