Job Description

● Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance

● Must be customer-oriented and patient to deal with difficult customers.

● Perform onsite or remote troubleshooting on Windows operating system and software/hardware issues.

● Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.

● Good in IT documentation.

● Perform administration for IT services as appropriate and required including user accounts, file/print, backup/restore, storage, e-mail.

● Ability to independently troubleshoot and debug routine Windows workstation hardware and software issues.

● Ability to deploy and support 100+ Windows and workstations independently

● Participate in project work as required, including non-business hour deployments (e.g. nights and weekends) Performs other duties as required

Job Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or IT related field.

● At least 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

● Strong understanding of computer software/hardware and Microsoft Windows operating system.

● Basic Knowledge of computer networking and system engineering.

● Understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications

● Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose the software/hardware problems.

● Knowledgeable in common applications i.e. MS Office suite, Outlook Email, Antivirus,Adobe Acrobat etc.

● Prior experience as a help desk support or other customer support role will be an advantage.

● Ability to work during night time when it is required.

● Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms

● Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision

● Bilingual in English and Burmese.

● Excellent communication skills.

● Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.

● Willing to travel around city areas
