As ‘ Account Director’ you are responsible for managing and enabling cross-functional teams with the goal to deliver outstanding, profitable work for clients, while striving for a positive team environment and a motivated team. In this role it is critical to enable smooth execution of day to day activities in line with client expectations.
As a leader of your portfolio of accounts, you play a strategic role in identifying and unlocking client partnership growth opportunities, as well as managing and growing a sustainable revenue pipeline and operational delivery model for the team, as part of the larger team and the agency overall.
You are expected to be committed to making an impact in the three key success measures of the role: Commercial Growth, Quality of strategic output and overall Team performance
You will be reporting to the MD on all issues.
Key responsibilities
Act as a liaison (main point of contact) between the client and operations team in understanding clients’ needs and objectives -Interface with clients during strategic discussions and handle escalations
Driving revenue and meeting profit goals - pursuing new business leads
Supervision on scheduling, production, and implementation and timely execution of all projects
Active collaboration with all teams (creative, tech, media/social, account, finance) to improve operational discipline
Maintain accurate P&L for each account / portfolio - drive and maintain performance of each account
Overall responsibility for maintaining financial discipline in dealing with clients (quotation submission to invoicing to payment collection) - regular coordination with nexlabs finance team
Contribute to agency training and L&D programs for your team outlining growth opportunities - develop internal process and procedure of junior personnel
Foster a spirit of teamwork and success oriented culture of accountability at nexlabs
Empower the team with delegated responsibility, openness for new ideas, setting clear goals for the career growth, providing regular feedback and performance evaluation process
Responsible for the achievement of the team productivity and quality goals & take disciplinary action as necessary and required
Assist MD in planning and implementing procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency
Determine staff requirements and collaborate with HR department for recruiting and on-boarding new team members

Job Requirements
Integrated communications experience, some in an agency (6+ years expected) - Proven track record in building strong client relationships that grow business
Employee engagement experience is preferred
Understanding the market trend
Proficient with social media trends
Accountable leader with a sleeves rolled up approach to problem solving
Comfortable in leading communications or content delivery requirements
Authentic and genuine personality; social, warm and open
