JOB BRIEF

The Digital Marketing Senior Manager will drive daily digital marketing executions and Yoma Bank’s digital marketing plan. The goal is to deliver a brand consistent message and create a strong and engaging online brand experience by understanding stakeholder and customer journeys to achieve business results.

 

Voice of the Customer

  • Act as the customers representative inside the organization.
  • Understand our stakeholders, customer segments and buying processes.

Word of mouth

  • Optimise the use of the internet, social media, Apps, ATMs, and point-of-sale digital experiences to grow brand awareness, build strong brand associations, and capture leads by establishing conversations with customers.

Thought leadership

  • Understand how Yoma Bank fits into the current landscape and help develop an understanding of differentiation opportunities online.
  • Champion new digital marketing ideas within our organization.

Creative

  • Brand custodian for overall digital marketing brand look and feel in line with Yoma Bank brand positioning and strategy.
  • Thread and tie all internal and external online creative work together through both a comprehensive key message strategy and execution.
  • Lead and coordinate the annual and quarterly digital marketing content and advertising calendar with agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage digital partners and outside specialists like web designers and advertising agencies.
  • Manage public digital and financial literacy webinars and training as a core CSR initiative together with partners.

Build awareness, associations, and engagement

  • Build and enhance the banks image and position through a strong and coherent online presence.
  • Lead digital advertising such as programmatic and Facebook advertising.
  • Share key insights and recommendations derived from the digital team’s observations and analysis, as well as external weekly and quarterly reports.
  • Manage a compelling digital score board and deliver on quarterly targets.

People leader building digital capabilities

  • Direct and coach the efforts of digital marketing and coordinate activities for high impact in line goals and target.
  • Build a winning digital marketing team to support innovation and daily business.
  • Continue to build team capabilities through training with partners and on-the-job training.
  • Help to build digital marketing understanding and capabilities across the organization.
  • Research and bring in digital marketing services and capabilities.
  • Build team culture of living the Yoma Bank values.

Essential 

Analysis and Marketing Skills

  • Strong digital marketer with proven track record of digital brand management.
  • Superb analytic digital skills.
  • Understand the value of external experts and know how to work with them to benefit our bank.

Leadership and Management Skills

  • Ability to direct and lead the efforts of digital marketing team.
  • Manage and mentor staff to inspire their best performance.
  • Ability to develop, source materials and oversee digital marketing programmes.
  • Ability to contribute at a senior level to the bank’s development including a strategic review, budgeting and planning.

Soft Skills

  • Innovative.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Build a personal rapport with all stakeholders.

Education & Special Training

Essential

  • Degree in Digital Marketing  

Experience

Essential

  • A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in marketing and min. 3 years in digital marketing.
  • Financial services experience is not required.

Desirable

  • International experience and perspective, and/or agency experience is a plus.

Languages

Essential

  • Fluency in Myanmar
  • Fluency in English
