Job Description

Reporting to the respective line manager, the role holder is responsible to take ownership of end-to-end data, market research, provide periodic reports, advise strategy, and implement special projects.

  • Work across the KBZPay Market organization to define, capture and interpret data
  • Work with management to prioritize business needs, aid operational transparency and understand customer behavior
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Work with partners to acquire and analyze useful data for business units
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Analyze and synthesize results using statistical techniques
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Provide ongoing reports and dashboards
  • Identify and initiate new processes for improvement opportunities, application design and partnerships priorities
  • Run experiments to optimize efficiency, increase customer retention, and increase sales
  • Inform and guide strategy and strategic initiatives through data
  • Perform industry and country market research for competitor benchmarking and macro economic landscapes
  • Continuously look out for and implement use of new analytics tools to perform aforementioned roles

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Business or STEM related concentration
  • 2-3 years of experience in qualitative analytics field and working in e-commerce
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Knowledge of statistical methods including hypothesis testing, and regression analysis
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using advanced statistical packages for analyzing datasets ( SPSS, SAS etc)
  • Proficiency in Burmese and English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience creating excel models and dashboards
  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exposed in project management roles
  • Understanding of e-commerce customer needs
