Read and make necessary changes in the articles written by the authors.
Check whether the articles are not copied and are original.
Develop various historical, stories, and content ideas by considering the audience appeal.
Ensure that the facts, dates, and statistics mentioned in the articles are correct.
Make use of various software applications to check the articles.
Interact with the authors to effectively understand the content.
Suggest the authors to make necessary changes within the documents, if necessary.
Make sure that the rules of digital & print media are followed.
Creating and enforcing parameters and policies regarding all publication and their contents, taking quality and originality as the most important aspects.
Work with content writers to help their ideas and stories succeed.
Develop story and content ideas while being mindful of the audience.
Hiring, sometime training and supervising new Editors and other team members.
Preparing and controlling budgets for the departments they oversee.
Evaluate submissions from content writers to decide what to publish.
Must be workable with team.

Job Requirements

Any graduated (Prefer Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or English language).
At least 3 years experiences for the publication or the news gathering organizations is an advantage.
Excellent verbal as well as written communicating skills in both Myanmar & English.
Expert listening skills and ability to interact with people effectively.
Knowledge about quality control analysis.
Effective judgment and decision-making skills.
Expert in managing time and completing the given task within the decided time frame.
Expert knowledge about communication and digital mass media.
Knowledge about government laws and orders.
Creative and innovative.
Ability to tolerate stress and work efficiently even under pressure.
Excellent leadership qualities.
Proficient in MS Office, Trello, Slack and Digital Media platforms.
Ability to work on cutting edge technology.
Willing to work for meaningful impact to society through digital technology.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
