Summary:

The Role of the HV/MV/LV Operational Engineer provides technical assurance and advice related to 66kV/11kV/0.4 KV electricity transmission, generation and distribution equipment and systems.  They are primarily focusing on the 66kV HV GIS substation, 66kV/11kV Transformer, 11kV Distribution VCB Panel, 11kV & 0.4kV Battery Started Diesel Generator Set, 11 kV /0.4kV Transformers and 0.4kV Low Voltage Distribution Panel and Raising Main to individual floors.

Working with Core Engineering Operation Team Members, the individual will have the following responsibilities (but not limited to):

Job Description:

• Manage others, perform maintenance, switching operations, installation, repair, replacement, testing, and troubleshooting, transformers, substations, switches, power circuit breakers, switch gear, manholes, cables, protective relays, metering circuits, control circuits, and other electrical equipment used in the distribution of electric power at the 66kV, 11kV, and 0.4kV voltage levels;
• Repairs, adjusts, and installs electrical equipment including but not limited to HV/MV/LV electrical room general maintenance, electrical main distribution board, sub-main distribution board, raising main, electricity metering panels and energy management system (EMS system), complex electronic devices, control panels, relays, conduit and switches;
• Perform maintenance, switching operations, installation, repair, replacement, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning on transformers, switches, power circuit breakers, switch gear, manholes, cables, protective relays, metering circuits, control circuits, and other electrical equipment used in the distribution of electric power at the 66kV, 11kV, 0.4kV voltage levels and 110V dc control power;
• Operates various components on the low, medium and high voltage distribution electrical system including isolation switches, interrupters, capacitor banks, transformers, voltage regulators;
• Installs, modifies, connects and repairs overhead and underground electrical distribution lines, insulators, earthing systems, fuses, poles, air switches and lighting arresters;
• Manually switch-over operation when utility power is interrupter/resume and immediately and electrically safety to changeover between 11kV Generator Sets and Utility power;
• Capable to prepare incident report and record every electrical characteristic operation for every operation of VCBs /ACBs / MCCBs switchgear, daily record energy consumption of each feeder and diesel consumption for each generator;
• May respond to emergency situations during of after working hours, holidays, weekends for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns; &Performs duties in a timely, accurate and cost-effective manner and strong troubleshoots skill.

• Must have bachelor degree in electrical (EP).
• A minimum of five years post graduate experience for operation and maintenance of MV and LV switchgears and battery started generator;
• Prepare and deliver reports in daily basis and written the incident report;
• Ability to using testing equipment and handle emergency cases for outages;
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Burmese; & English.

• Capable of accurate work under pressure.

• Read the CRP panel status and communication with local power distribution company (YESC sub-station and maintenance team)

• Plan and development of the annual maintenance procedure and necessary workflow and forms. 
• Operation of circuit breaker, protective relays and measurement devices for 11kV and 0.4kV;
