ROLE PURPOSE 

The purpose of the ELV Engineer is to take responsibility for managing and maintaining the security solutions, as well as for establishing and enforcing processes and policies related to security systems.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Oversee all aspects of the physical security infrastructure of the whole organization. Ensure that all the security solutions implemented in the organization are done with high quality and in compliance with security standards defined by the organization. 
• Lead and develop security technical team/CCTV team with a broad set of responsibilities; manage activities with focus on continuous improvement. 
• Engage in improvement projects, often requiring reaching out to a variety of third-party vendors and internal support teams and deliver the projects in predetermined timeline without compromising quality. 
• Establish and enforce processes and policies related to security systems. 
• Prepare routine checklists and monitoring procedures, ensure all predetermined checking and monitoring activities are performed regularly and review the results periodically. 
• Identify and respond to any issues related to security systems and manage the investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issues in compliance with the predetermined SLA.
• Develop and maintain proper documentation for security systems. 
• Follow technology trends related to security, research and suggest new technologies. 
• Contribute toward excellence in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment. 
• Perform other duties assigned by Executive Manager- Security Operations. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 

• Provide day-to-day effective operation and maintenance of security systems including, but not limited to, CCTV systems, door access control systems, fire suppression systems, public address systems (PA systems), GPS tracking systems and security network systems. 
• Coordinate with all other internal teams for implementation, maintenance, and operation of security systems. 
• Manage all third-party vendors for security systems. 

• BE (EP/EC) or related Bachelors or Diplomas. 
• Experience in managing and implementation of enterprise level security systems 
• Experience in networking technologies and security technologies 
• Experience in proper documentation of security systems 
• Experience working together with other teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan 
• Professional working experience in team building and project organization 
• Extensive knowledge of CCTV systems, door access control systems, fire suppression systems, public address systems (PA systems), GPS tracking systems and networking systems 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
