Job Description

The role holder is primarily responsible for proactively and professionally maintaining Government Affairs for the Bank & supporting the PPGA Function Deputy Head in the assigned goals.

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with government and policy makers, representing the Bank.
  • Provide tactical & action support on Government Affairs matters to HOD/Deputy HOD
  • Deliver the assignment/task for a particular purpose in a professional manner with minimal supervision
  • Be business partnering with the internal stakeholders for bridging them with the policy makers
  • Collect legislative and policies intelligences for the top management and the respective stakeholders of the bank
  • Facilitate and coordinate the needs of the respective VCs and Functions to get it done effectively and efficiently
  • Update the weekly/monthly the progress report for the assigned tasks
  • Work closely with Corporate Affairs for talking points to policy makers Execute

Job Requirements

  • Possess Degree in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Finance / Accountancy /Banking or equivalent.
  • Preferably possess Master Degree in Business Administration/ Public Policy / Political Economics
  • At least 3~5 year(s) of related strong working experience is required for this position.
  • Having experience in government affairs and within the banking sector.
  • Ability to command both spoken and written in Myanmar and English.
