Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  • Develops short and long-term budgets and financial targets; holds each department to account regarding their financial performance
  • Establishes and maintains an accounting system to detail assets, liabilities, equities, obligations, expenditures, and current and projected revenues
  • Ensures the timely and accurate preparation of required and requested reports (e.g. monthly close of financial accounts, weekly tracking of revenue)
  • Certifies the requisition of operational funds
  • Receipts and oversees the deposit of all money accruing to the system
  • Monitors all purchasing and spending and ensure sound audit procedures
  • Assigns work and evaluates performances of subordinates
  • Maintains liaison with other departments to serve as the financial advisor
  • Manages accounting and taxation issues in accordance with the law of Myanmar

Job Requirements

  • University degree in accounting, finance, economics, management, or similar field (relevant experience and another university degree may substitute for degrees mentioned)
  • ACCA, CPA or CIMA qualified is preferred.
  • At least 7 to 10 years’ experience in related position
  • Advanced knowledge of excel, as well as understanding of word-processing, and power-point.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of accounting software
  • Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skill
  • Good analytical skills with attention to details, demonstrated sound judgment, and ability to manage simultaneous priorities under tight deadlines
  • Excellence in MS Office, E-mail, Internet 
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills required
