Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

Develops short and long-term budgets and financial targets; holds each department to account regarding their financial performance
Establishes and maintains an accounting system to detail assets, liabilities, equities, obligations, expenditures, and current and projected revenues
Ensures the timely and accurate preparation of required and requested reports (e.g. monthly close of financial accounts, weekly tracking of revenue)
Certifies the requisition of operational funds
Receipts and oversees the deposit of all money accruing to the system
Monitors all purchasing and spending and ensure sound audit procedures
Assigns work and evaluates performances of subordinates
Maintains liaison with other departments to serve as the financial advisor
Manages accounting and taxation issues in accordance with the law of Myanmar

Job Requirements

University degree in accounting, finance, economics, management, or similar field (relevant experience and another university degree may substitute for degrees mentioned)
ACCA, CPA or CIMA qualified is preferred.
At least 7 to 10 years’ experience in related position
Advanced knowledge of excel, as well as understanding of word-processing, and power-point.
Knowledge and experience in the use of accounting software
Excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skill
Good analytical skills with attention to details, demonstrated sound judgment, and ability to manage simultaneous priorities under tight deadlines
Excellence in MS Office, E-mail, Internet
Excellent written and verbal English skills required
