Job Description

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of the financial accounting
  • Supervise Finance Team for day-to-day operations;
  • Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
  • Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
  • Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
  • Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
  • Developing and managing financial systems/models
  • Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
  • Manage audit process, statutory and tax filings; Liaise with auditors, tax departments, and regulatory authorities;
  • Manage development of Good Accounting pratices & IFRS SOPs & work instructions (WIs) of the company.
  • Successful implementation of Power B, Accounting Software for Production, Inventory Control, Costing and General Ledger
  • Lead & manage the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end account closing and year-end closing
  • Lead & manage costing for consumption, work in process, finished products and inventory control
  • Carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the FC.

Job Requirements

  • Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications
  • CPA /ACCA or equivalent certification
  • Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience directing the finance function in a revenue-generating manufacturing company with a strong preference for the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods.
  • Strong experience in income statement analysis.
  • Minimum (3) years of leadership experience
  • Experience working with MS Office applications, ERP and accounting systems
  • Proven track record developing team members’ careers and providing growth and development opportunities.
  • Fluency in both English and Myanmar languages
