Job Description

Responsible for the full spectrum of the financial accounting
Supervise Finance Team for day-to-day operations;
Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against budgets.
Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk;
Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements
Developing and managing financial systems/models
Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
Manage audit process, statutory and tax filings; Liaise with auditors, tax departments, and regulatory authorities;
Manage development of Good Accounting pratices & IFRS SOPs & work instructions (WIs) of the company.
Successful implementation of Power B, Accounting Software for Production, Inventory Control, Costing and General Ledger
Lead & manage the day-to-day accounting operations, month-end account closing and year-end closing
Lead & manage costing for consumption, work in process, finished products and inventory control
Carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the FC.

Job Requirements

Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications
CPA /ACCA or equivalent certification
Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience directing the finance function in a revenue-generating manufacturing company with a strong preference for the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
Have a flare for numbers, work well with people, aggressively anticipate impacts of workload/issues to team deadlines and have a very positive work attitude including willing to work some longer hours during peak periods.
Strong experience in income statement analysis.
Minimum (3) years of leadership experience
Experience working with MS Office applications, ERP and accounting systems
Proven track record developing team members’ careers and providing growth and development opportunities.
Fluency in both English and Myanmar languages
