Key Responsibilities● Manage and control the daily accounting activities including, GL, AR, AP, FA, inventories, cash movements● Manage the month-end closing activities and ensure timely submission of reports to Group Finance for consolidation● Coordinate general administration activities including legal issues, insurances, payroll, asset protection● Manage and ensure proper tax deductions and compliance ; prepare accurate tax reports in line with local Revenue Codes● Analyze costs, pricing, operational spend, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans; prepare latest estimates vs plan and recommend specific plans of action to take to ensure the country meets its committed target● Provide timely financial and management reports and interpret financial information while recommending further courses of action● Liaise with auditors (Internal/ External) to ensure appropriate monitoring of processes and company finances is maintained. Ensure all processes and reports comply with local laws● Drive the local implementation of finance ERP ; ensure strict compliance to finance and accounting processes and controls● Lead the budget planning ; identify cost-reduction opportunities while taking full ownership for preparation of the company’s budget ; conduct regular budget reviews● Work closely with commercial team in reviewing investment support at country and ensuring that ROI is justified , optimized and delivered● Maintain the financial health of the organization by proactively developing trends and projections for the firm’s finances● Build and develop a strong local finance team and ensure they are aligned with the company’s objectives and are able to deliver according to performance expectations.● Other administrative duties as assigned by management.
