The Frontend Developer’s purpose is to develop the frontend User Interface for the software solution in coordination with the UI/UX design. The candidate should be passionate about the economic and social empowerment of Myanmar people through technology. 

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

The Frontend Developer (FD) will work in a product team to create frontend web solutions that integrate with multiple backend systems. This includes mobile apps, content management systems, and chatbots. Working within a cohesive team and highly structured development processes are key. Key Activities include:

• Working with the Product Owner and UIUX Designers to translate creative ideas and mockups into interactive prototypes

• Frontend coding of custom solutions using React

• Collaborating with the team to develop and maintain web application user interface.

• Familiarity with Agile methodology 

• Ensure the solution reaches requirements.

• Identify and resolve technical issues.

• Monitor performance metrics and optimize code.

• Using testing methodologies and supporting frameworks (e.g. TDD)

• Working with REST APIs

• Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends .

Qualifications

• Bachelors in IT, Computer Science or related field

• Native Burmese speaker and conversational English

• 2+ years experience in Frontend Development

• Constantly Exploring and Learning, passionate about improving entire team

• Ability to understand target users through User Testing and choose the most appropriate tech

• Have Knowledge with a headless CMS such as Contentful, Storyblok or Strapi

• Emphasis on prototyping and QA

• Awareness of build tools (e.g. Webpack)

Skills Needed

• Communication: Native Burmese, Moderate English verbal and written

• Software Languages: React js, CSS, JSX, Javascript, Next js, JSON, PHP Laravel

• Architecture: Data Security and Cache Control

• Build app and UI components from prototypes and wireframes

• Work with third-party dependencies and APIs

• Ability to write well-documented, clean code

• Knowledge of user interface design and responsive designs.

• Organized and Detail oriented

• Collaborate with the team with respective tasks assigned.

• Ready to learn new technology to fit project needs
