JOB BRIEF

• You will be joining our strong and competent NCC support team which is a crucial part of our Research & Development (R&D) team, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining NCCViewer Application for Network Communication Controller (NCCv2), which concentrates, manages and routes ISO8583 based messages originated from payment terminals (EDC POS) to host systems, and supporting requests from all our customers across Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep track of bug reports, and escalated cases from support team, and reproduce customer issues.
• Manage and implement evolution requests on NCCViewer from customers.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills while working with customers and internal team members.
• Demonstrate flexibility in being able to handle interruptions well, prioritize work appropriately, and transition between tasks with ease.
• Coordinate with local and regional NCC support teams based in other countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines and Australia while driving to resolution.
• Interact with customer to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about NCC.
• Manage and resolve support cases by providing technical assistance on NCCv2 to customers via phone, email and/or remote access, and other appropriate channels.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to establish root cause of problems and form a solution or workaround.
• Work effectively and manage your queue with minimal supervision.

Experience

• Proven Experience as a Full Stack Web Developer or a similar role

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in Front-End Technologies including PHP7, JavaScript, CSS3 and HTML5.

• Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages including Java, and Python3.

• Familiarity with Java libraries features including log4j, hibernate, session, mail, etc.

• Experience working with build automation tools including Maven for Java projects.

• A solid background in working with Nginx or Apache servers including their configuration options.

• General understanding of major RDBMS with emphasis on MySQL5, MySQL8, and PostgreSQL including their configuration options.

• Extensive knowledge of Linux operating systems RedHat, CentOS, Linux shells and standard utilities, and common Linux security tools.
• Good knowledge on Yum packages and updated repositories.
• Fundamental understanding of networking including use of applications such as Wireshark for packet analysis, Virtual Machines, SSH, and FTP.

• Experience working with version control systems such as GIT, and issue/bug tracking tools such as JIRA

• Knowledge on Unit Testing, Jenkins, Encryption in Transit, and Encryption at REST, would be a Plus.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in IT or Computer Science

Languages

• Fluent in both Burmese and English (Written and Verbal)
• Burmese: MUST be a Native User
• English: MUST be a Competent User who has an effective command of the language and can communicate well with people within or outside the Organization
