ROLE PURPOSE

 

FX Sales & Services team is primarily responsible for driving business initiatives for FX Products offered by Treasury Department existing and potential clients by assessing clients’ profiles, understanding the dynamic nature of each business, providing consultation and FX solutions most suited to the needs of the clients. The Treasury FX Sales & Services Manager/Senior Manager, in coordination with other team members, is expected to assume, not limited to, the following responsibilities:

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise FX Sales & Service team and achieve various goals and targets set by the Bank
  • Manage, maintain, and enhance database of existing and prospective clients
  • Make joint customer calls with Corporate Sales & Service team to promote FX products to deepen existing relationship and to cultivate new ones
  • Identify, analyze, and address gaps in operations/front office processes to improve customers’ experience
  • Develop marketing material, FX projection model, and FX business initiatives, including external and internal presentations
  • Develop proficiencies in FX market conditions, economic releases, and customer trading behavior
  • Work with Legal and Compliance Departments for necessary documentations
  • Review current functionality and ensure documentation is up to date and organized
  • Proactively initiate and develop analysis tools such as dashboards to better enhance the process
  • Take ownership of all major FX initiatives and coordinate across the Business Team and with broader Yoma Bank organization as needed
  • Provide regular update to management
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Knowledge & Skills

Essential

  • Excellent communication and marketing skill
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office, particularly Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Working knowledge on trade financing, foreign exchange trading, international banking procedures are added advantages
  • Good technical skills, market & product knowledge and capable of responding to change in both the working and market environment

Education & Special Training

Essential

  • Minimum Bachelor degree preferably in Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related areas
  • Other Finance/Trade related professional certifications is an added advantage

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of work experience in sales role, preferably in banking sector
  • Experience in banking and finance industry in the field of Treasury, International Trade is preferred
  • Experience in import/export industry is plus

Languages

Essential

  • Pleasant, confident and effective interpersonal & communication skills in both Myanmar and English languages
