Establish and expand the Logiscool business in Myanmar and report on the performance and key updates upwards and downwards regularly. Establish Logiscool as a trusted and premium brand in Myanmar for the long term. Build a robust organization, set-up processes, implement policies and enable technological platforms for sustainable growth while complying to Asia Strategic Holdings Group and Logiscool policies and guidelines. 

Key Areas of Responsibility:  

  1. Strategy definition, planning and execution 

  • With the support of the Finance Business Partner, refine the Logiscool Myanmar business plan and have the yearly budget approved by the Board of Directors  

  • Identify customer segments, personas and Logiscool Unique Selling Points (USP) for the Myanmar market and specific catchment areas 

  • Define the product merchandizing and pricing to optimize the value capture while meeting the market expectations and positioning Logiscool advantageously compared to the competition 

  • With the help of the Marketing and Finance Business Partners, prepare a marketing plan adapted to deliver on the business plan and meet yearly targets set jointly with the BOD 

  1. Operations management 

  • With the help of the Marketing Business Partner, manage the marketing strategy and adapt the marketing plan monthly while respecting the budget 

  • Recruit, train and manage the School Managers performance in terms of sales and service quality 

  • Be an avid ambassador and promote the development of the Logiscool brand in Myanmar 

  • Always commit the best efforts to achieve the sales targets and establish a highly competitive sales mindset culture without impeding on the quality of the service or negatively impacting the brand  

  • Never accept a service delivery level that is below the expectations set by the organization and ensure uncompromising compliance to the Logiscool teaching methodology 

  • Manage the internal coordination of the business and build a culture in line with the ASIA Group and Logiscool values  

  • Constantly monitor all aspects of the business activities and correct any deviations as required while remaining in compliance with the ASIA Group and Logiscool International policies and guidelines 

  • Plan and ensure that the resources required for the success and smooth operations of the business are always available on time 

  • With the support of the Finance Business Partner, report on the business outcomes according to the schedule and frameworks provided by the Group COO, Board of Directors and Logiscool International 

  1. Capability building 

  • Build a robust organization by refining the structure, recruiting the right talent for each role of the organization, and providing the relevant training to each team member 

  • Design and implement processes that ensures consistent and effective decision making across all aspects of the organization 

  • Participate to the implementation of the technological tools driving operational efficiency and lead the reflection aimed at making the technology available better adapted to the needs of the organization 

  • Ensure that the right information is made available to the right stakeholders at the right time to help with consistent and effective decision making across all layers of the organization 

  1. Performance management 

  • In collaboration with the ASIA Group COO, develop the performance management framework for the organization 

  • Determine the target setting for each component of the performance management framework and collaborate with the HR Business Partner to have the parameters documented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner 

  • Ensure that the performance management framework is embedded within the Group HR processes and that the subsequent actions are following the Group HR policies and guidelines 

  • Motivate and encourage the people in your organization to get the best out of them 

  • Develop the people of the organization through individual and/or group coaching and by leveraging the Learning and Development capabilities of the Group HR Learning & Development resources made available 

  1. Market expansion 

  • Develop a 3-5 years growth roadmap and have it approved by the Board of Directors 

  • Drive the growth efforts by identifying the market expansion opportunities and addressable catchment areas 

  • Identify locations, negotiate lease agreements and obtain terms ensuring the sustainability of the business while also covering for potential adverse market conditions 

  • Lead the implementation and execution of the construction works of the new centers in compliance with the brand guidelines while leveraging the ASIA Group resources made available 

  1. Corporate Affairs 

  • Assume the Legal Representative responsibilities of the business if required by the Board of Directors 

  • Obtain all licenses required to run the business in compliance of the Myanmar law while leveraging the ASIA Group resources made available

Job Requirements

  • High focus on service quality and building trust with customers (Parents / students) 

  • Strong market understanding in the segment of children’s education and coding 

  • Capacity to work within and a build a structured organization 

  • Strong strategic marketing competency and experience 

  • Decision making ability to drive the P&L 

  • Ability to build and manage a high performance team 

  • Fluent in English 

  • Positive attitude and sincere desire to lead by supporting others 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Economics or Business 

  • At least 10 years’ work experience in related field
