  • Work with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract and Tendering strategy.
  • To coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications.
  • To organize and harness the efforts of all involved departments relating to tendering/bidding activities and contract review.
  • To coordinate customer’s bid requirements within the various departments such as planning, QA/QC, HSE, Engineering, Production, etc., collate and compile all queries and requests for additional information for communication to customers.
  • Coordinates proposal process, following standard procedures, including planning, review, and production of statements of qualifications and proposals.
  • Contracts (various: including formal, short form, and annual contracts)—Drafting, Evaluation, Negotiation and Execution.
  • Manages as a liaison and coordination between internal and external parties during contract development and negotiation stages.
  • Control and revised the cost estimate of materials developed by the QS Manager.
  • Prepares the bidding documents for the subcontract RFQ’s.
  • Analyses Contract requirements and conditions and approves the cost estimates of subcontracts developed by the QS Manager.
  • Responsible for the cost estimate of internally performed activities developed by the QS Manager and based on the evaluations made by the other technical departments (engineering, procurement, project management Submits the proposal to the Client.)
  • Monitoring contracts for compliance with contract requirements; Reviewing, negotiating and administrating government and private-sector contract and subcontract.
  • Lead the oral presentation preparation, both documentation and speakers.
  • Must be able to independently manage a challenging workload when faced with unexpected changes in priorities and deadlines.
  • Develops pre-bid, bid, to review on bidding documents and construction schedules.
  • As needed, provide guidance on contract matters to project managers or other operational staff, including training to new project managers and other employees in contracting practices and procedures.
  • Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with Company policy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree/Master’s Degree in related field (Civil engineering +business, marketing, etc.) preferred.
  • Ideal candidates should possess 10+ years of experience in a marketing role within the Architecture / Engineering / Construction industry.
  • Experience with industry terms, contracts, deliverables, EPC tender and processes is required.
  • Strong and effective communication, writing, and computer skills are essential.
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) and Project Management Software such as Primavera, MS Project.
  • Well versed in FIDIC contract terms and condition.
  • Experience writing reports, briefs, and similar content.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and on multiple documents.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English and Myanmar.
  • Ability to meet milestones and deadlines.
  • Must offer reasonable schedule flexibility to meet proposal requirements.
  • Effective ability to negotiate and execute contracts.
  • Innovative and strong communication capability.
  • Language skill in English, high energy, passionate and inclination to work with diversified teams/people.
  • Must thrive in project planning, directing, structuring and restructuring projects abilities are required and a background of business management skills, budgeting and analysis is advantageous.
  • Analytical, result oriented, structured in approach, performance focused with ability to manage larger volume of work within tight deadlines.
