Scope of the position

The GM is responsible to coordinate and drive all Commercial activities related to the Operation in Myanmar. Activities include Offer Management, Marketing, Commercial, Sourcing, Import, QA, Logistics, Store Operation, P&L Management, and cross-company communications. The GM will also dedicate a significant portion of its time to developing employees and improving processes and guidelines to achieve operational excellence to become our Standard.
 
Core responsibilities

·       Create and execute business strategy and business plan for Myanmar
·       People management (hiring, performance management, team structure, resource allocation)
·       Control P&L and achieve Financial Targets (Sales, Profitability, Cashflow, Customers, etc.)
·       Ensure competitive offers and differentiation with Assortment, Pricing, and Promotion strategy
·       Develop and implement various strategies for business growth and expansion
·       Develop, and implement effective processes and guidelines in line with our expectation
·       Cross-functional coordination
·       Reporting to Management
France (Int’l team)
·       Develop and implement the various strategies of Quality Assurance

• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
• Strong analytical ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
• BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
