Job Description

Overview

As a general manager you will need to have a solid ubderstanding of all business functions, this role requires you to have attention to detail and extrememly good organisation skills.  Lead, oversee the overall Human Resources and Administration management function including with managing Admin and HR staff, guiding operation method, monitoring budget and other related matter. Lead and guide team members to accomplish the administration and human resources departments goals and overall corporate objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Oversee completion of key administrative HR processes (e.g., staff contracts, holidays, payroll, benefits, terminations etc.) to ensure effectiveness and accuracy in implementation and execution.
  • Participate and manage directly recruitment 
  • Manage the appraisal and performance tools.
  • Lead specific HR projects upon request of CEO.
  • Provide advice on conflict management.
  • Provide counsel on HR perspectives and requirements related to all HR issues to Assistant Managers and Staff.
  • Support the HR annual plan preparations.
  • Provides broad oversight and expertise in the development of organization initiatives to assure successful achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Evaluates risk factors with potential to disrupt achievement of strategic goals and sets appropriate course of action in response.
  • Ensures the completion of department tasks in a timely manner and within the allocated budget.
  • Oversees preparation and presentation of compliance documents/ reports internally and externally.

Administration

  • Oversee completion of key administration processes (e.g., contracts, general work permit, etc.) to ensure effectiveness and accuracy in implementation and execution.
  • Monitor costs and expenses, prepare and propose budgets.
  • Manages daily office operations, manages vendor relationships, and oversees office standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee all general contracts including for Dispatch Agreement, Vehicle, Apartment, Services Agreements and so on.
  • Schedules, distribution of agendas and materials, minute-taking and recording, and overseeing meeting venue and servicing needs.
  • Maintain all ‘Board’ and associated committee records, including terms of office and corporate documentation and meeting minutes; and oversee adherence to all statutory reporting obligations with respect to ‘the Board’ and its associated committees.

Job Requirements

Education, Qualification and skills needed

  • Degree in Business Management or Masters in Business Administration.
  • Good knowledge of different business functions.
  • Excellent active listening and negotiation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations and make decisions. 
  • Ability to interact with and lead employees at various levels.
  • Highly organized and strong work ethic
  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Computer literate.
  • Proactive nature.
