We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven General Manager - Business Development unit for driving a team in identifying profitable business opportunities and developing long-term business growth strategies to increase company revenue.
The responsibilities include recommending ways to improve operations planning, attending meetings with business partners, Government officials, Departmental, etc.. and responding partners of key business developments. You should also be able to assess business risks by analyzing financial, statistical, and economic data.
To be successful as a General Manager, you should be persuasive and have strong business acumen. Ultimately, should be adept at negotiating sound business deals as well as demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
Builds business by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
Job Duties:
• Works very closely with the Managing Director
• Identifies opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by sourcing potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
• Produces financial cost, and profit and loss calculations for each project
• Develops negotiating strategies and positions
• Works with lawyers on the contract, and is responsible for closure
• Highly considerate of keeping information confidential.
• Takes ownership and responsibility to see through leads and projects
Tender/ Special Submission tasks to conduct
- Acquiring prospective and meaningful business through competitive bidding & managed route
- Identification of new projects through contacts information, website, contacts from variety possible sources
- Maintaining of existing business contacts/partners/clients & developing new.
- Gather information of Demand and Requirement from End User for possible projects.
- Presentation to client in general about capabilities of organization and products.
