Job Description

  • Lead strategic planning and execution of Business Development project and commercial jobs to achieved the assigned targets.
  • Seek business opportunities and build up the business pipeline for all business unities.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and lead with efficient operations for smooth results.
  • Review the business contracts and commercial agreements.
  • Deal with Government authorities according to business demand.
  • Developing new solutions to meet client needs and review the potential and putting proposal up for management discussion.
  • Working closely with account managers and other senior staff to retain clients.
  • Ensuring that departments or units deliver quality offerings to clients.
  • Improving internal processes for better productivity and setting up standard policies and processes.
  • Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
  • Develop strong working relationships with management, managers, and staff.
  • Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and involve the mutual benefits.
  • Ensure staff follows health, safety, security and environmental regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports for upper management.
  • Take full responsibility for forecast budget and cash flow, financial statement, and P&L statement for the company.
  • Provide strategic advice for cost-effective business planning, control investment, and develop new ideas based on market trends to the board of directors.
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees.
  • Oversee corporate governance activities as per IFC and ISO criteria.
  • Develop and control all operational budgets to ensure all the resources to meet its objectives within financial parameters and maintain the financial strength of the company.

Job Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Business or Logistics; MSc/MA is a plus
  • Experience with strong managements skills mostly in 3 PL logistics or freight forwarding industry
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar management level role
  • Experience in planning and budgeting
  • Excellent communication skills and strong analytical ability
  • Problem-solving aptitude
