On behalf of our Client, a farm equipment supplier. We are looking for a: Head of Human Resources to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridges management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Manages the recruitment and selection process
  • Supports current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Develops and monitors overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the organization
  • Nurtures a positive working environment
  • Oversees and manages a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintains pay plan and benefits program
  • Assesses training needs to apply and monitors training programs
  • Reports to management and provides decision support through HR metrics
  • Ensures legal compliance throughout human resources management
  • Handles all functions of HR matter
  • Reports directly to Management (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)

Job Requirements

  • University degree in any major subject plus post graduate diploma in Human Resources
  • Holding an MBA will be an advantage
  • At least 5 years of experience as Head of Human Resources
  • Having solid knowledge of HR systems and databases and demonstrable experience with Human Resources Metrics
  • Having in-depth knowledge of labor law
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, sociability skills and multicultural skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command of the English Language
  • Willing to travel as business trips
