Job Description

  • Analysing the mobile money market and broad understanding of the mobile business dynamics.
  • Strong solid understands of Mobile Money domain and its ecosystem designs and its relevant Products & a service that meets this segment market needs, Mobile Financial Services market share and revenue growth
  • Identifying customer’s & channel pain points and address them with practically and effective way in coordination with Head of Sales.
  • Managing the design and production of promotional materials, such as websites and brochures.
  • Craft strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative, Ensure new products designs are in line with Mobile Money Business Unit strategy and objectives.
  • Responsible for achieving customers & agents base & revenue & subscribers base targets as per Business plan.
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Analyse consumer behaviour and determine customer personas
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share.
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features).
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Listen” to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company.
  • Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etc. that meets market demands
  • Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives
  • Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its dayto-day implementation
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (digital, press etc.)
  • Create a solid network of strategic partnerships with GU Business and external partners
  • Monitor and track the competition offering, market dynamics and communicate products and marketing changes to his line manager with proposed reaction.
  • Work & coordinate with relevant departments like sales & distribution department, , technology, finance as well as engaging within Management team.
  • Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc or M.Sc in Marketing or relevant field
  • Demonstrable experience min 7 years in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.)
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods for B2B and B2C markets. A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities
  • A candidate for this position must also have a keen interest in conducting research and data-driven insights coupled without standing planning & analytical capabilities. The candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the business’s product as well as standard strategic, analytical, and marketing concepts.
  • A candidate for this position needs to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, portraying an ability to move and inspire a large group in a unified direction and vision. Being a representative of the business, he must also be a likable and approachable individual who is able to form strong and long-lasting relationships both internally and externally on behalf of the business.
