On behalf of our Client, a farm equipment supplier, We are looking for a: Head of Operation to be based at their offices in Yangon, Myanmar.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates, communicates, and implements the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction
• Leads the development and implementation of the overall Finance Company’s strategy
• Solicits advice and guidance, when appropriate, from a Board of Directors
• Formulates and implements the strategic plan that guides the direction of the business or organization
• Oversees the complete operation and sales of Finance Company in adherence with Central Bank Guidelines and Group’s Policies
• Leads overall business development teams to create new product financing programs to match the market requirements
• Sets up high-level KPIs and targets and evaluates the performance vis a vis the target set
• Evaluates the success of the organization in reaching its goals
• Actively engages with other Business Unit leaders to generate the business from the whole Group’s ecosystem
• Participates in industry-related events or associations that will enhance the Head of Operations leadership skills, the organization's reputation, and the organization's potential for success
• Supports the overall credit and risk function of the Company to better mitigate the risks arising internally and externally.
• Keeps overall Non-Performing Loans within the target set by the Board of Directors

Job Requirements

• University degree in any major subject
• At least a Master’s degree in business or finance with a solid understanding of operations of Non-Banking Financial Institution’s (NBFI) products
• At least 10 years of experience in Bank, NBFI, or MFI with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity
• Strong Knowledge of rules, regulations, compliance, and anti-money laundering policies of the Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM)
• Excellent understanding of Loans products, credit process, and recovery process with hands-on experience in Myanmar
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, sociability skills and multicultural skills
• Excellent command of the English Language
