Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

  • Lead and manage all aspects of remittance and its related business encompassing inward and outward remittance, settlement operations for various products of the Bank
  • Responsible to oversee the Relationship Management in international remittance business, correspondent bank, agents and local partners
  • Leading the Remittance Team and work with business and product teams to design and develop competitive products and services
  • Liaise with business, product, marketing, control and risk teams for new product development and product enhancements, such as cash management, remittance products and services for both retail and corporate customers
  • Ensure to foster enduring customer relationships by providing excellent products and services
  • Manage process improvement to streamline work flows and procedures (e.g. straight through processing, digital banking, etc.)
  • Liaise with regulators, auditors and compliance staff on latest regulatory, control and compliance requirements
  • Ensure exercising the controls to comply with internal and the regulator requirements
  • Manage enquiries from over the counter customers and branch staff on remittance transactions
  • Ensure identify and open new corridors, countries and businesses for inward and outward remittances.
  • Execute and negotiate agreements, renewals and amendments for operating business

Job Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration
  • Minimum 7 years in remittance and with at least 5 years at senior level
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of local and overseas remittance from business perspective
  • Strong service quality, control and process improvement skills
  • Excellent leadership quality on process, people and service excellence
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills at all levels of the organization up to chief executive and board level
  • Good knowledge of AML requirements applicable to remittance business
