Job Summary:
We are looking for an HR & Admin Supervisor to join our team and support the day-to-day activities of our Taunggyi International School. HR & Admin Supervisor responsibilities include processing employee data, updating company policies, and assisting in the hiring process and public affairs. To be successful in this role, you should have solid organizational skills and be familiar with HR & Admin functions. Ultimately, you will make sure all HR & Admin operations run smoothly.
Main Responsibilities
• Assist HR Manager, Head of School & School Principal and responsible for handling the full spectrum of HR & Admin functions
• Handle full recruitment process which includes job advertisements, conduct interviews, salary proposals, work pass applications, and maintenance of employee database
• To prepare monthly HR reports and ensure appraisals complete on time
• Update internal databases with new hire information
• Monitors legislation and policy activities, updates and advises school leadership and staff about relevant policy proposals and actions, and works with school management to analyze potential impacts on the school
• Communicates with the school community to inform them of relevant government issues
• Builds and maintains strong relationships with legislators, authorities, and Head of regulatory agencies; provides input into and implements government affairs strategies to enhance the organization’s image amount governmental authorities
• Manages government relations and continuous process improvements to mitigate risks throughout the organization
• Maintain records, including inventory, personnel, orders, supplies, and maintenance documentation
• Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed
• Prepare reports and presentations on HR-related metrics like the total number of hires by department
• Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event)
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
