Introduction

The HR Manager, Myanmar supports the Myanmar business in establishing and aligning key HR process, procedures and employment compliance. This the role will work closely on key HR projects including, but not limited to, Talent Acquisition, Employee Onboarding & Engagement, Reward and Recognition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Communications, and HR strategies. The HR Manager, Myanmar is a role within the SG ADM Export organisation and is based in Myanmar. The HR Manager, Myanmar reports to the Head of HR, SG ADM Export.

Responsibilities/Talent Acquisition

  • Drive the entire Talent Acquisition cycle in terms of job posting to onboarding
  • Generate letters and contracts associated with all employee movements employment contracts, onboarding packs, contract change letters, etc
  • Produce salary proposals
  • Update and maintain employee records and maintain an accurate filing system
  • Administer all employment agreements and offer packs for communication
  • Manage all administration and checklists with starters, changes and leavers – advise external and internal authorities on commencement / termination requirements
  • Coordinate internal communications with new starters to the business and promptly post announcements on Workplace
  • HR Advisory Services
  • Provide day to day advice to managers and associates on all HR-related matters such as performance management, recruitment, benefits etc
  • Review and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Coach and advise managers & associates on performance management / disciplinary issues
  • Any other HR project

    Signature HR Processes

  • Support the Employee Engagement process with regards to the administration of the Gallup Survey and the follow-up action plan
  • Contribute to the Talent Review / Compensation / Performance Development process by pulling out relevant HR data
  • Responsible for the integrity and accuracy of HR data on SuccessFactors
  • HR Project Administration and other duties as required

  • Any other related HR administrative or related project tasks as required

    Must have:

  • 6-8 years’ experience as a HR generalist in a multi-national work environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in providing HR advice and support;
  • Experience in an FMCG manufacturing environment is desirable;
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Ability to plan, organize and deliver upon multiple priorities;
  • Working knowledge of employment legislation;
  • Knowledge of HR processes;
  • Excellent command of English language and communication skills (both verbal and written);
