Job Description

  1. Faculty and Staff Recruitment: Coordinate the recruitment process for academic and non-academic positions, including posting job vacancies, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.

  2. Academic Affairs Support: Collaborate with academic departments to address HR needs related to faculty members, including contract management, promotions, and tenure evaluations.

  3. Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a harmonious work environment among faculty and staff.

  4. HR Policies and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR policies specific to the university environment, ensuring compliance with academic and employment regulations.

  5. Training and Development: Facilitate professional development programs for faculty and staff, assisting in enhancing their teaching and administrative skills.

  6. Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation structures and benefits packages for university employees, ensuring competitiveness within the education sector.

  7. Student Employment: Oversee student employment programs, including work-study opportunities and student hiring processes.

  8. HR Data Management: Maintain accurate HR records and databases related to faculty and staff, and generate reports for university management.

  9. Employee Engagement: Organize engagement activities and events to promote a sense of belonging and community among university employees.

  10. Legal Compliance: Stay current with education laws and regulations, ensuring the university's compliance and handling related documentation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Adminstration, Human Resources or a related field is more preferable. 
  • Proven experienced in HR roles within an academic or university setting is adventurous.
  • Strong knowledde of HR functions and academic employement regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with faculty,staff and students.
  • Detailed-orianted with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Certification in HR is a plus but not mandatoty.
