Job Description

A Good Opportunity for ..

1. Develop and administer human resources plans and procedures that relate to the organization’s personnel
2. Plan, organize, and control the activities and actions of the HR department
3. Contribute to the development of HR department goals, objectives and systems
4. Implement and revise the organization’s compensation program
5. Assess employees’ performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure maximum efficiency
6. Create, revise and oversee job descriptions, responsibilities and authorities
7. Conduct annual salary surveys
8. Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine a competitive compensation plan
9. Develop, analyze and update the organization’s salary budget
10. Develop, analyze and update the organization’s evaluation program
11. Develop, revise and recommend personnel policies and procedures
12. Maintain and revise the organization’s handbook on policies and procedures
13. Perform benefits administration
14. Manage and participate in the recruitment process
15. Oversee and conduct new employee orientations and employee relations counseling functions
16. Oversee exit interviews
17. Maintain and ensure all employee attendance records, leave records, employee lists and other human resources related records
18. Participate in administrative staff meetings
19. Maintain the organization’s directory and organizational charts
20. Recommend new policies, approaches, and procedures
21. Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization
22. Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance
23. Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
24. Contract with external suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms or relocation services
25. Communicate and cooperate effectively with relevant departments in the organization
26. Perform other related duties and required of the Human Resources Department
27. Follow instructions from and report to the Board of Directors and Chairman

Job Requirements

1. Previous experience as a manager, supervisor, coordinator or relevant position
2. Bachelor’s degree or certifications in Human Resource field
3. Experience in industry procedures, costs and terms
4. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail
5. Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Ability to travel locally
8. Proficiency in both Burmese and English
