About the role
Join ONOW to support a successful and growing social enterprise of over 50 staff. The HR Officer will work within the HR team to create structures and systems for staff to thrive, promote ONOW values and culture, and create an environment for learning and well-being. Our ideal candidate understands the value of a creative and empathetic HR team being an enabler for staff success and health. You do not want to work in a traditional, rigid, rules-based HR system.
Responsibilities
The HR Officer will support the HR team in all HR processes. They will coordinate many HR tasks while learning new skills. Areas of focus could include:
Learning and Development
Operation Management

Human Resource Planning

Coordinate research and maintenance of policy documents for all country offices

Employee data upkeep in HRM software

Administrative tasks such as performing background checks, filing paperwork, completing employee documentation, and recording data on each current employee.

Draft, assist and monitor the team’s OKR quarterly
Recruiting, Onboarding, Offboarding

Supervise the Recruitment & Selection Process

Supporting the onboarding and offboarding processes
-
Maintaining termination paperwork and assisting with exit interviews
Employee Relations and Performance
-
Coordinating the Performance Review process
-
Monitoring and handling staff welfare and employee engagement
-
Maintaining records related to grievances and disciplinary actions.

Performing as a key person of communicating between employees and HR Department
