Purpose 

Power plant or Oil/Gas/LNG industry or discipline, such as industrial, production, system, health, occupational or environmental safety. Knowledge of safety operation electricity or natural gas production site/equipment, as well as safety discipline ensure work environments are safe for employees.

• Support HSE inspections and assessments daily, weekly and monthly
• Develop a culture to anticipate and prevent health hazardous conditions
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and summaries to management with suggested solutions
• Execute environmentally management processes and waste or pollution prevention
• Handle industrial hygiene, equipment protection, machine guarding and other health and safety programs
• Handle workplace accidental injuries by interpreting OHS standard requirements when emergencies occur
• Handle safety assessments and deploy corrective measures to minimize hazard risk profile

• Bachelor Degree holder or industry safety diploma or similar major. 
• Qualification like NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH HSW
• Minimum 3-5 years site safety engineer relevant working experience in power plant/chemical plant/nature gas or oil plant.
• Preferred former safety engineer/officer working experience in Chinese company or JV 
• Acknowledge of HSE system, skill to write & implement safety manual, program, check-list
• Fluent in English (Speaking / Writing)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Able to setup policy / procedure to suit power plant or oil/gas plant
• Able to prepare training materials, training to worker and weekly, monthly safety report
• Communicating and negotiating with worker, specialists, other staff and suppliers to introduce safety policy
• Ability to explain safety policy and issues clearly for non-technical colleagues
• Working around Yangon and if can be other place in Myanmar (preferred)
