Scope of the position

Manager responsible to oversee and facilitate all aspects of the supply chain related to imported products.  From regulatory affairs, supplier preparation, logistics, customs clearance to the storage of products, the manager will be involved in all steps of the process for a successful implementation.

Core responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate the end-to-end process for importing products from source to destination
• Prepare suppliers for market compliances (labels, paperwork, registration. etc.)
• Take care of import requirements in Myanmar (import license, permits, FDA, IHC process, etc.)
• Arrange for import logistics and custom clearance
• Support Merchandising with landed cost calculation
• Forecast and order for replenishment according to Merchandizing guidelines
• Negotiate and contract with service providers (freight forwarders, agencies, etc.)
• Monitoring and managing oversea shipment progress
• Liaise with Myanmar authorities when necessary
• Collect, manage, and handle all necessary documents related to import products

KPIs

• Time to Market (from order to destination)
• Stock level of imported products
• Cost of import

Job Requirements

• At least 8 years management experiences in Logistics/Supply chain and Import Export (F&B) background
• Can use Odoo or SAP system
• Can manage shipping arrangement for food and non food
• Can negotiate with third party
• Can manage Custom Clearance
• Advanced excel and powerpoint skills
• Good communication skills
• Can work under pressure and work on time
