OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:

• Manage the Import/Export process and ensure compliance with local and foreign government laws and regulations
• Expedite the flow of traffic to/from foreign destinations, including customs documentations and transportations.
• Oversee the completion of paperwork and monetary transactions associated with distribution in a timely manner.
• Consultation to the principals and suppliers regarding insurances, duties and taxes.
• Liaise with principals and suppliers to resolve any shipment related documentations discrepancies to ensure smooth
• Process the payments to overseas suppliers on time.
• Process tax refund and deposit refund from the government in timely manner.
• Train and supervise the staffs to get knowledge of specified SOPs and process in order to comply with quality requirements.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABLITIES:

• Accurate and timely application of required import licenses.
• Timely shipment clearance without demurrage and detention charges.
• Accurate and timely payment processing to suppliers.
• Minimize importation and clearance expenses.
• Accuracy of custom duty and commercial taxes for imported products.
• Damage and quality claim process with the suppliers.

EXPERIENCES & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• At least five years working experience in import and export.
• Knowledge of custom clearance process and latest government import and export regulations

SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS

• Good Business Communication Skills in English.
• Good Computer Skills (MS Office Suite) with Myanmar Typing.
• Knowledge of import license application matters.
