Team player role in power user stream, the role holder is accountable for working in business insights tasks as an individual contributor. We are seeking experienced resource in this position, therefore the confidence and capability to work independently is expected from an insight’s analyst.

• Support the business enquiries pertaining to the business insights on demand basis.
• Support the business and ACoE function with high velocity information delivery using exceptional data manipulation and analysis skills.
• Develop re-usable programs for data extraction, transformation and cross-platform movement.
• Capture and interpret relevant data from various systems and communicate the patterns / trends / behaviours across entire data consumer community.
• Lead on propensity, segmentation and recommendation projects and leverage this intelligence to support enterprise initiatives.
• Prepare / support in preparation of insights and hypothesis testing artifacts through data story telling.
• Support data engineering team with business usable data schemas and guide the engineering team to deliver business ready information universe.
• Interface with business users to gather the requirement for data insights work and manage the expectations from business keeping in mind the availability of information and capabilities.
• Support the function, especially business intelligence team to develop the business-critical dashboards and delivery of those in most optimum way.
•  Project manage the promised deliverables independently and support the team leader.
• Track and resolve risks, issues, and action items throughout project lifecycle.
• Mentor / document the gained knowledge about business to new team members.

Degree in quantitative discipline (computer science, mathematics, engineering etc.).

• 4 – 8 years of professional experience in the area of data insights, data analysis, and business analysis activities.
• Expert level competency in SQL scripting and understanding of visualization platforms such as power BI / Tableau.
• Experience in working in complex and distributed data platforms.
• Experience in segmentation, clustering, decision tree methodologies.
• Exposures to open-source platforms such as Python is desirable but not mandatory.
• Exceptional, clear and transparent communication skills, since the role requires day to day involvement with business users.
