ROLE PURPOSE

The Manager must be self-driven individual who will be responsible for conducting the assigned projects of the organization.

The manager must possess in-depth knowledge and capabilities to be able to lead and sustain the internal operation of the assigned branch/department while the Branch Manager/ HOD is on compliance leave.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand Yoma Bank Vision & Values and culture.
  • Conduct assigned projects relevant to the objectives in accordance with the compliance leave plan.
  • Understand the key functions and business processes of the branch/HO department, and able to lead the assigned branch/department.
  • Have a thorough knowledge and experience in the operation procedures of the assigned branch/department.
  • Update to Head of Department on regular basis; progress on assigned projects, highlight the challenges, and any arising significant issues noted.
  • Ensure successful completion of assigned projects within the stipulated timeline and deliver the business sustainability while the head of the assigned branch/department is on compliance leave.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education & Special Training

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business administration
  • Strong background in Banking

Experience

  • Strong knowledge of bank operation and procedures
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suites (Words, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and take ownership of projects and high level of attention to detail
  • Socially confident with good interpersonal skills. Ability to build constructive and effective relationships
  • Displays high levels of integrity, objectivity, and impartiality
  • Ability to be flexible to changing conditions; organizational skills including ability to work with diverse team
  • Must be able to travel as required
  • Adequate knowledge of Myanmar banking regulations
  • Have strong organizational skills and time management abilities
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal) with ability to present to senior-most management in a clear and concise way
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
