Job Scope Summary       : Responsible for the management and provision of all technical aspects in IT to support Pizza Hut Myanmar’s infrastructure. The second role is maintaining the information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions.

1. General Management

  • Conduct studies of new system and review existing system to support Pizza Hut Myanmar Infrastructure service including desktop, networks, IT security and telecommunication.
  • Direct the preparation, implementation and training of policies, procedures and standards relating to information and telecommunication systems.
  • Manage and ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day operation of all application systems at store level and office, Information System & Database, the company website and relative projects.
  • Formulate and provide sales analysis report or utilities for the management.
  • Supervise IT subordinate to maintain the accuracy and correctness of all data set-up in the store level.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new technology, hardware, software, and infrastructure to the management to improve security, operational efficiency & simplify repetitive clerical tasks. Perform project management on any project as assigned by upper management

2. Hardware

  • Ensures that the company works with Jardine Restaurant Group. Has a good relationship with Hardware Partners.
  • Supports the company in resolving hardware issues through escalation of issues with Hardware partners.

Considered as Hardware: Computers, Servers, Routers, Switches, Cables, Monitors, and Screens, Point of Sale devices, all relevant interfaces, UPS and related devices, and other active components.

 

 

3. Software:

  • Ensures that all IT Policies and Guidelines are applied in the company.
  • Ensures that only original and properly licensed application programs according to the IT management’s policy and requirement are running on the Pizza Hut’s systems and computers.
  • Has a good relationship to the Software suppliers.
  • Supports the company in resolving the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software issues and coordination to Software suppliers for other issues related to ERP.

4. User:

  • Ensures that no user in the company has access to programs other than needed to perform the job. IT Manager is in charge to provide and maintain a basic training program. This is to enable the best possible know how, skill level and use of systems by all employees in the company.

5. Security / Data safe:

  • Responsible for compliance of the company IT Security Policy.
  • Responsible for the data safe / backup of all relevant user generated data, be it part of the general system or personal systems. IT Manager always assures that relevant backup policies are duly respected, and the system reaches the highest level of security.

6. Management:

  • Responsible for the proper planning and budgeting of IT expenditures for the company, as well as for compliance with the Jardine Restaurant Group IT policies and guidelines.
  • Creating business cases for justification of investments and expenditures to support the approval process.
  • Responsible for a regular status report about the company actual IT situation to the GM

Job Requirements

Education / Training Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or) higher degree in information technology or relevant field

    Experience:

  • A dynamic professional with a minimum of 8 years of IT experience & 3 years at management level.

    Knowledge / Skills / Personalities:

  • Broad understanding of computer systems, applications, and operating systems and hands-on, possess a high energy level.
  • Good organization and team leading skills.
  • Excellent communication in English.
