Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient individual to join our IT team as an IT Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our internal users, ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues efficiently. You will be a key member of our team, playing a vital role in keeping our employees productive and our business running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to internal users via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software applications.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups and updates.
  • Document and track support tickets and issues.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
  • Assist with the rollout and adoption of new technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and best practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with users.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
