Establish and maintain a production oriented, focused IT function that supports ongoing operations that drive efficiency, quality and growth.
Provide hardware, software, budgeting and disaster recovery/business continuity planning and support to site offices and staff in multiple operating, business and functional units.
Serves as the IT point of contact and accountable for the IT portion of new office setups, office expansions, etc. This includes relocation and/or installation of voice/data communications solutions, LAN and PC equipment.
Negotiate and approve technology vendor, outsourcing, and consultant contracts and service agreements. Responsible for procurement, installation and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware and software (includes PCs, peripherals, servers, networking equipment, operating systems and other software).
Determine the rationale and innovative troubleshooting methods for upgrading company network and software programmes each time an update is released.
Overseeing and determining timeframes and deliverables for major IT projects.
Developing standard operating procedures allied to best practice, and ensuring written protocols and guidelines are provided for IT staff and all end-users.
