RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible to maintain constant communication with users, vendors, and management to ensure the IT development of the Yoma Bank, and responsible for aligning IT objectives, operation policy and strategic plan of the Yoma Bank, liaising with other stakeholders and team to achieve the results and outcomes.

• Collaborate and participate in development and implementation of new software solutions as required.
• Perform unit testing, revise, refactor, debug codes during the application deployment.
• Support the BAU applications on daily basis and follow-up on the incidents with stakeholders and vendors.
• Monitor and update weekly incidents tracking list with details: issue lead time, service/module failure, system downtime, root cause, workarounds, and solution.
• Report daily to Reporting Officer about the latest updates and issues/blockers.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

• A recognized degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Experience

• Typically requires 3-5 years’ experience in Banking Sector.
• Strong background in technical background is highly preference.
• Experience in networking and IT technologies.
• Experience in working together with other teams from several departments to facilitate the orderly execution of a proposed project plan.
• Good Experience in defining the acceptance test criteria.
• Must have excellent skill in troubleshooting and tracing, and able to identify which component of application having the issue.

Knowledge & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in developing applications using Java, Angular.JS, Node.JS, HTML5, CSS, MySQL, REST API, LINUX.
• Ability to analyze the requirements, design and develop new features/applications as necessary.
• Willing to learn and adapt new technologies quickly.
• Able to work as a team as well as individually.
• Ability to speak English will be advantageous.
• Experience in cloud computing, especially Azure will be an advantage.
• Not afraid to ‘roll up the sleeves’ and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn.
• Ability to explain complex ideas to those with limited IT and systems knowledge.
• Listening ability and patience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
